Abram Audiology is owned and operated by Dr. Jackie Abram, who built the practice around convenient, transparent, and accessible hearing healthcare — including mobile visits and satellite clinics across central Iowa.
Jackie Abram, AuD
With more than 20 years in the field, Dr. Abram earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in audiology from Wichita State University and her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University in 2005. A native Kansan, she has called Iowa home since 2013 and lives in Adel with her husband Aaron, a West Des Moines native, and their three children.
Jen Fenton, BA
Jen oversees daily operations, community outreach, and engagement for the practice. She holds a degree in Business Management with a minor in Communications from Buena Vista University, and stays busy outside the office raising three sons.
Sydney Abram
Sydney is Dr. Abram's daughter and assists in the office. A college freshman studying biology and working as a CNA, she's passionate about medicine and exploring a future career in healthcare.

Veterans & C&P exams
We complete Compensation & Pension (C&P) hearing exams for veterans referred through VA contractors Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) and Loyal Source. Results are sent directly to the VA — we're unable to share results or make benefit decisions ourselves.

Onsite community services
Mobile audiology, made easy. We bring hearing care directly to schools, senior living communities, and workplaces across the metro.
- Preschool hearing screenings — quick, affordable, and important; studies suggest up to 1 in 5 preschoolers has undiagnosed hearing loss.
- Senior living centers — onsite ear cleanings, hearing aid checks, fittings, and educational seminars for residents.
- OSHA hearing testing — hearing conservation testing at all of our clinic locations, plus onsite for qualifying facilities, with help completing OSHA documentation.

Our home base is in West Des Moines, with a second clinic in Stuart. We also see patients through satellite partnerships in Greenfield and Knoxville, and offer at-home visits for patients who can't come to us.
